Rally season is here! Our first single-day event of the year starts in Calgary, taking on our new wayfinding rally format. This event will see teams depart the start line with a single destination on their route card. Teams will visit that location, where they’ll receive a new route card with a clue and new destination. The goal of the event is to use a series of clues to come up with an answer. The fewer clues you need to solve the answer, the more points you’ll earn! The day will be split into two legs, split up by lunch at the Hawk Tail Brewery in Rimbey, AB. At the end of the day, teams’ morning and afternoon scores will be added up and a winner will be crowned. The event will end with dinner and awards at Calavera Cantina on 13oth Ave in SE Calgary.

As a bonus, we’ll be visiting the brand new mountain coaster at the Canyon Ski Resort in Red Deer!

How it works:

  • Each team starts the rally with 12 points
  • At each waypoint, teams will have the option to guess the answer, or move on to the next waypoint.
  • Teams lose one point for every waypoint they depart without guessing the answer to the problem.
  • Teams lose two points every time they guess an incorrect answer. Only one guess can be made per waypoint.
  • If a correct guess is made, that team’s score is locked-in.
  • The goal is to try to solve the problem with as few clues as possible.

Event cost: $250 (2 people/1car) or $160 (1 person/1 car)

A $250 deposit is required to secure your spot on the event

*Entry fee is based on two vehicle occupants

**Both team members must be 18 years of age to participate.
